UP-NETWORK infrastructure

UP-NETWORK operates its main infrastructure in Gland, Switzerland. The Zurich interconnection point supplements the connectivity of the AS213929 network. These two locations do not automatically offer the same services and protections.

Technologies by service

Service
Environment

VPS

KVM orchestrated with VMmanager 6; storage depends on the AMD or Intel range.

VDS

KVM on Proxmox, reserved CPU and memory, RAID SSD storage.

Web hosting

Plesk, PHP, MariaDB, WordPress and email.

Collaborative Suite

An organisation-specific Nextcloud instance, with Mail, Office and Talk.

Network

AS213929 connectivity and routing; delivery according to the PoP and plan.

A technology’s presence in the infrastructure does not mean it is directly accessible in every subscription. Check the tools and access details delivered with your service.

Availability and protection

The SLA policy defines the level and scope of the plans. SwissShield varies by location, option and IP addresses. Backups also vary between VPS, VDS, web hosting and Suite.

Hosting in Switzerland describes the location of the services concerned. A partner scrubbing option may route traffic through external infrastructure; it must not be presented as exclusively Swiss filtering.

Observe or prepare a project

The Looking Glass helps you observe public routing. The status page publishes incidents and maintenance. For a location, certification or redundancy requirement, have the scope specified in your quote.

See the Housing and Support pages to install your hardware or entrust operations to the team.
