# Get started with your collaborative Suite

## First access

Use the Nextcloud address and organisation administrator access details provided during provisioning. Check the domain, certificate and your organisation’s identity before inviting users.

Set a personal password, enable the available two-factor authentication and keep your recovery methods. The organisation administrator can make two-factor authentication mandatory according to the delivered settings.

## Organise the team

Create the necessary accounts and groups using the administration functions available to you. Full internal accounts, including administrators, count towards the quota. Give each group only the access it needs.

Prepare team folders and sharing rules. For external exchanges, use the available protections, such as a password and link expiry. A guest limited to shared resources does not have the same permissions as an internal user.

## Connect your tools

Check Mail mailboxes and calendars. Use compatible Nextcloud software to synchronise files and the available methods for calendars and contacts. For a phone or external application, use the access methods associated with your account’s two-factor authentication.

Office and Talk are included. Have meeting capacity confirmed for your number of participants. Additional applications and SSO integrations require validation and, depending on the project, a quote.

## Storage and recovery

Files, documents and email share the same quota. Monitor its use and organise team data.

Versions and trash allow file recovery. [Daily backups with seven-day retention](/documentation/en/guides/backups-and-restoration.md) support recovery after an incident; contact the team for a full restoration.

You administer the organisation. UP-NETWORK administers the platform and its operating system components; root access and operating system settings are not part of client access.
