First access and VPS console

Check delivery

In BILLmanager, check that the order is confirmed and the service has been delivered. Then open the management link provided or VMmanager.

Select the correct machine and note its status, assigned addresses and connection details. BASIC plans can be ordered without IPv4: your device or network must then have IPv6 to reach them directly.

Connect to the operating system

On Linux, use the account and address specified for your image. The username may vary; it is not necessarily root.

ssh UTILISATEUR@ADRESSE_IP

Replace both values with those for your service. If you use a key, select your local private key in your SSH client. Verify the host fingerprint through the console or delivery information before accepting it.

For Windows, use the access method provided and check the licence and firewall rules before exposing RDP.

Console and power controls

The VMmanager console lets you observe the operating system even when SSH or network access fails. Open the console available for your VPS and check startup or network configuration.

Prefer a clean operating system shutdown or restart. A forced shutdown may interrupt a write; reserve it for cases where the machine no longer responds. Check ongoing operations before starting another.

If access fails

Check the VM status, address, port, SSH/RDP service and firewall. Do not reinstall the operating system simply because you are unsure of the credentials. Attach the error and console status to a ticket.

Continue with security and backups.
